The Center for Global Food Security at Purdue University announces the opening of the Spring 2014 application cycle for the U.S. Borlaug Fellows in Global Food Security Program graduate research grant. This program is generously funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) with the aim to boost the number of future leaders and decision-makers who have the scientific base needed to effectively study and promote sustainable food systems. The grants support student research in a developing country setting in-residence at an International Agricultural Research Center (IARC), or a qualifying National Agricultural Research System (NARS) unit. The application deadline is Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11:59pm Eastern time.
