Collaborative Research

Collaborative research to us means working together with our partners and stakeholders to solve problems of mutual interest. It involves harnessing resources at the local, national, and international levels to investigate issues that are of critical importance to the communities in which we work employing integrative, holistic and applied participatory research approaches. We considered local knowledge and expertise as paramount components of the research planning, initialization, and implementation processes. Development projects are then designed and implemented to solve critical issues that are unearthed during the research process. We believe that development projects planning and implementation should be guided by clear assumptions that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-sensitive.
