Lieway holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the Engineering College of the University of Liberia graduating in December 2017. He is a self-motivated individual who is passionate about his career goals as an emerging development practitioner.

His research interests include global environmental change and climate change and how those processes impact the geological processes of the earth and its ecosystems. He plans on pursuing a graduate degree in Environmental Geology with an emphasis on mineralogy and minerals exploration, climate and global environmental change.  Lieway is a flexible team player who enjoys the challenges of change and is committed to lifelong learning. In addition to his role at INDESEEM INCORPORATED, Liberia.

Lieway serves as a community service volunteer at the Youth Network for Reform, a local organization based in Paynesville, Monrovia, Liberia where he works with youth and children. His expertise includes geology, mineralogy, global warming, global environmental change, climate change, youth development, and social justice.
