Jones holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts in the United States of America. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.

His research interests include climate change and indigenous knowledge, Gender, agriculture and sustainable food security, development management in developing countries, pollution policy and environmental right. He has conducted primary research in the United States and in Ghana and has presented results at academic and professional conferences both in the United States and in Ghana.

Jones has over 12 years of professional experience in the United States and Ghana working in various organizations and institutions. He also has several computer professional certificates in computer science and technology and has worked as Computer Security control Assessor with his main focus on Risk Management Framework and POA&M Management. Jones joined INDESEEM, Inc. in 2017.
