Senior Geospatial Officer - Lao PDR

Touleelor holds a Master of Science degree in Geography from Mysore University based in India and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the National University of Laos.  He has over 15 years of combined professional experience working as a GIS Specialist within the International Development sectors in Southeast Asia and has contributed to several academic and thematic publications on smallholder irrigation systems, groundwater resources, socioeconomic analysis, and climate-smart agriculture.

He has well developed his personnel professional throughout his careers, particularly with the International Non-Governmental Organization and the Research for Development Organizations in Lao PDR. He has worked on diversifying field works including biodiversity conservation, water resources management, disaster risk management, irrigation, and socioeconomic development. Additional, he specializes in Geographical Information System applications for more than 6 years. 

His key expertise includes thematic mapping in geographic information systems for development, socioeconomic mapping, land use and land cover change mapping, spatial analysis, interpretation, spatial metadata creation and preparation, spatial and temporal database management.
